Game Notes?

Have you ever gone to the Kings website before a game and downloaded the “Game Notes” they provide? Here’s the first page…

…but what you may not know is that these “notes” are 40 (four-zero) pages long! That’s a book in my, well, book. It’s actually more like an encyclopedia. Seriously. Makes my head spin…

They list just about every kind of stat you ever wanted to know, and some you didn’t.

• Player rosters for both teams
• Season stats for both teams
• Team record stats when trailing/leading/OT etc.
• Goals by period, shots by period, PP, PK, goal situations
• Individual leaders: shootouts, PP, short handed
• Season series head to head for each player
• Media notes: injuries, last game, transactions, next game
• Individual notes, team notes, NHL rankings
• Team history, milestone tracker, player tracker
• Last time stats: led after, trailed, scored, allowed, streaks
• Game by game summary
• Player by game summary
• Head coach and player bios for both teams!
