- Monarchs held the lead headed into the 3rd but gave up 2 goals by Cory Quirk and Derek Joslin to lose the game. The winning goal was scored with just 34 seconds left. Very tough loss. Reminded me a lot of the Kings in their game 4. Could have been 3-1, now 2-2.

Maybe that it’s basically a meaningless stat? Last year he was a +2, the year before a -13 and the year before that a +16. Go figure.
+/- is fun, but for some strange reason, I value a number somewhere close to 0 rather than double digits either way.
