The big news of the day was Matt “Cupcake” Greene getting back into action…
I have to report that my experience seeing Greene on the ice during practice was different than usual. Typically Matt’s presence is known by everyone. He is boisterous, talkative and equal parts intense and jovial.
This was not the Matt I saw today.
In one word, I’d sum him up as concerned. Not a single smile. A lot of one on one’s with coaches. A lot of resting between drill shifts. Unsure in his skating and puck handling. Uneasy and invisible. Not the Matt Greene I know.
This is to be expected after a concussion so I’m hardly surprised. But after watching him closely today, I’d be surprised if he’s in the lineup tomorrow. Here he is talking with Terry Murray after practice…

Granny hits car was priceless! LOL
Hey the granny video is gone.
What granny video? Didn’t know what you meant the first time…
Their was a video of a guy in a convertable sitting at a stop sign. He almost ran the stop sign, and an old lady crossing the street. He was sitting and waiting, and while the old lady was crossing the street, she hit his car with her purse, and his airbag inflated. Some skateboarders caught it on video. Absolutely the funniest thing I ever saw. LOL
