During the playoffs at Staples, there was a Verizon booth set up in the main concourse. They offered everyone an chance to go in front of a green screen and act out this little “checking lesson” scene with Drew Doughty.
Of course, a friend of mine just had to do it. And in his usual “method acting” way, he committed 100% to his character. Classic J-rod!
You know what’s F-ing hilarious, but sad all at the same time is your game clock. Was wondering, no ones ever done any merchandising for the insiders blog. Long sleeve black T’s with names on them for 25 to 30 bucks. Maybe some cool name tags that have an insider logo that a name could go on. Available for 3 to 5 bucks. Maybe some inside the Kings merch.
Very sad and painful! Seeing “5 months” is like a dagger in the heart. Sucks.
Good idea about insider swag. Lots of ideas there. Of course, I couldn’t do it without his permission, but I’d be interested in making it happen if all proceeds went to charity.
It’s actually very doable in conjunction with the Kings. I’d be surprised if they didn’t try.

I’m in a Vancouver prison cell. I infiltrated the crowd last night and started all those riots. I kept telling everyone how Montreal fans were hoping the Canucks would fail and that Vancouver isn’t really a Canadian city. And with that, they all went ballistic! LOL.
So far having a good summer. I have a few thing up my sleeve for next year. Enjoy the next 3 months of no hockey!
