The Doors Wide Open Line… Krieger/Morrison/Manzarek
Jim scores the game winner. Densmore gets the shutout in goal.
Major bummer to end it that way. Great to see all the fellow Insider bloggers at Staples…mcsorleyfan, puck73, Ravens, Happy Lappy, Dominick, variable, Kingsfanone and LomitaKingsFan.
But what a terrible way to end it after having the game right in the palm of their hands. You must seize opportunities and not let them slip away. Will this be the lesson? Or will the mistakes be repeated next year? Will one door open as another is closed? We shall see. For now, it’s the end… rock on fellow hockey fans and Go Kings Go!
This is the end, beautiful friend
This is the end, my ownly friend, the end
Of our elaborate plans, the end
Of everything that stands, the end
No safety or surprise, the end
I’ll never look into your eyes again
Can you picture what will be
So limitless and free
Desperately in need of some stranger’s hand
In a desperate land
Come on, baby!

Likewise it was great to finally meet you also!
I noticed the line top right says “where losing and pain live” so I thought I’d check in over here more often!
Seizing opportunity and not letting it slip away? Kinda the mantra in the music industry, yes? Maybe a bit in the film industry as well?
I live in San Pedro and someone is filming in the area nearly every single week, and at times I like to wander over and watch the process. I’ve gotten to meet many actors over time, including L.L Cool J (they film NCIS LA an incredible number of times out here) and Tim Kang (The Mentalist & older Shell commercials), even getting to talk with Tim for maybe 10-15 minutes or so as they filmed this season’s opening episode literally a block from my house, and Will Smith making Hancock (the train scenes).
And hey, now I know you! I’m a lucky guy!
(Boy, and wasn’t THAT completely off topic!)
