I went back and searched for what could have caused Scott Parse’s injury during Tuesday’s Preds game and found this collision with Jack Hillen.
This ended up being Parse’s last shift of the game. He skated off the ice immediately and was replaced by Dustin Brown, who went to the net and watched Drew Doughty blast his first goal off the crossbar.
In what appears to be a fairly minor incident, it seems likely this collision was the cause of the “lower body injury.” Closer inspection shows it was his knee that was possibly hyper-extended. Hopefully it was not his repaired hip that was re-aggravated.
