After last night’s shellacking by the Oily ones, the Kings were back at work this morning in El Segundo.
Terry “no line changes” Murray emphasized offense, obviously. Mainly a combination of entry plays and dump and chase drills. Plus a great drill I call “battle of the boards” where guys dig pucks out of the corner at full speed. You’ll also get to listen (and laugh) at some figure skaters chatting about who knows what.
There’s also a bonus video of a post-practice photo shoot with none other than Colin Fraser, who many say will never even play a game for the Kings. Which begs the question: Why then do a photo shoot with a guy who is on perpetual IR?
lombardi is garbage and horrible evaluator of talent ….. said it a million times ………. how many horrible trades and bad free agent signings does this guy have to make …… oh yeah , need to fill boxes or some jibberish ….. penner isnt even an nhl player , dustin brown is not a top 6 forward … has the worst skill and hands i ve ever seen in a top 6 guy …… yet the organization continues to annoint brown as some kind of building block player for like the last 5 or 6 years …… its ridiculous ……. and drew doughty is more overrated garbage like brown ……… what a joke this organization is ………… horrible gm , who has no idea what skill is …….. putting guys like brown and doughty on some kind of pedastal …… and they are comepletely non skilled garbage players ………….. what a joke …….. and yes drew doughty has no skill ….. nothing ……. and as we have seen , isnt the greatest defensive player either …………. 7 million dollars …… youve got to be kidding …… he will never be worth 7 millioin dollars at any time during his career ……. not counting for inflation , but u know what i mean ……….. brown and doughty are completely overhyped and bring no skill to the table and u need skill to score goals …………… the entire team is a skillless team thanks to our brillant gm ………….. only kopi , williams , gagne and richards have marginal skill ……….. everybody else – absolutely none …………….. thats right kopi marginal skill ……. i love him and hes my favorite player for his all around game …. but not a high skill guy … hes not a dangler ….like datsuk , nash , or even lesser types like vrbata hemsky etcc…… who are all over the place , except on this team ……. you need stick handlers , you need danglers , you need creative guys , even if they are soft fineses guys …… that is irrelavant …. because their great creation and stick handling far outwieghs the fact these players tend to be a little soft …….. you need skill and stick handling to be a dominant team ……. something the kings have absoulutely none of thanks to lombardi and his overemphasis on grit ……. have fun playing one goal games the rest of your lives kings , where the games outcome can be decided on a bounce here or there ….. others like me strive for dominance …… the kings have no concept of this ………………. lol doughty and brown , annointed kings who fumble and bumble the puck just about every time it is passed to them ….. they are the worst recievers of passes ive ever seen ……sure once they have control and it is already on their stick they can skate and look to make plays …. but catching a pass smoothly and making another instant pass or shot is what it is all about and these have none of that ……… these guys just suck ……. dustin brown is just terrible period ……. …… drew doughty is a better player than brown , but stupidly is given 3 million dollars more than he is worth …… martinez is better than drew doughty period …………… and martinez dosent even make a million …. what a joke this organization is
if our gm had a clue he would trade all our top prospects and dustin brown and bernier for nash ….. then this town can see what stick handling and skill is ……… keep the first line the same and then have richards and nash on the second line with parse or whoever and we would be unstoppable …. because teams would have to pick kopis line or richards line to focus on and then the other would bite you …….. you can try to contain them both , but we know how hard that would be with a guy like nash on this team …………… or okay , no matter what we offer the jackets wont trade us nash , then u go out and get lesser guys with skill who could really help …. like hemsky or vrbata or pavelski or whoever just to improve the skill level on this team …….. not saying any of these players are available per say ……. im just saying those types of players ………. if you cant get a top tier guy like nash …. then go after second tier type skill guys like ones similiar to the ones i mentioned above ….. they are everywhere ………….. but i still think nash would be attainable if the kings offered brown , loktionov, bernier , hickey and maybe a lower salary vet just to make the deal work moneywise ……….. and if they insisted okay , we had no plans on trading nash , but your offer is close to what we would consider to start over , but to make this trade happen mr lombardi you have to substitue voynov for hickey …. i would first try to keep slava …. but if they insisted ….. id be like fine , if thats what its going to take …………. and we would have two unstoppable lines ……… considering if line 1 dosent get u throughout the course of the game then line 2 definately will and vice versa …… unstoppable ………………. but lombardi is too much of a wussy to ever make such a trade ….. always worried about depth and grit , instead of what actually wins – skilled hockey players
anyways , dummies run this franchise , and for most of the 45 years it has been this way …… oh well just another typical kings season ………. congrats lombardi , brown , and doughty ……… u just keep proving my point over and over and over again …………….. as usual , i know more than the people running the kings …… its so sad and frustratiing for me to be right about everything , every year

i , like you guys, am a kings fan i just dont stick up for players and gms who obviously suck ………. and lol that night when gann matsuda banned me he called me bias because im negative …..lol i nearly feel out of my chair ……. lol thats the definition of not being biased …. being a kings fan , yet admitting they suck ………. saying and writing only positve things about your team is the very defination of bias ….. see brian hayward ……….. and that is the boat that 99 percent of all kings fans are in ….. including yourselves …dont just say yea we suck or whatever but actually call out the players or staff who do …. like this guy sucks and needs to be gone …… this organization will never win with this nice guy mentally from the front office to the fans ……………….. thats why everybody respects the fans in philly and new york and other east coast teams , because of you dont win , its you suck and your out …… some may say thats not rtespectful but who cares , this is about winning championships not making friends …… i am an east coast fan type trapped out here in lala land where i was born and raised ……. to bad for me i have to be surrounded by all these dumb not caring about winning fans , who dont demand winning …………… its about being friends with the players and not hurting their feelings etcc…… “thats not nice , dont say he sucks” …. you effect change , like the east coast fans do in every sport by voicing your displeasure in angry ways about the current product ….. not getting angry gives you 45 years of what we have ….. garbage ………
2 overrated and overhyped players on this team are brown and doughty , and what makes it so bad is that the kings target these 2 guys as 2 of thier core ……. im not saying brown cant be a useful and effective thirdliner for us or anyother team , but thats what he is …. a thirdliner ……………….. also im not saying doughty couldnt be beneficial for us or another team, he can be , just exactly how martinez is , just as a nice useful player , somewhat average , and whose salary is paid accordingly …………….. not 7 million dollars , ruining our ability to get top end playmaking forwards in the future for the very average drew doughty ………….. yes, thats all he is and is ever going to be – average …………. you screwed up kings ….. screwed up again ….. peace im out
