UPDATE: More great photos and video below from LomitaKingsFan
If there’s one thing that last night confirmed, it’s that the ‘insiders suite night’ is not a recipe for Kings success. Once again, we left both disappointed in the outcome of the game, yet happy with the overall suite experience. I believe the Kings have only won once during a suite night. Yet we still come back for more!
There were a few firsts last night that went over quite well. We successfully broadcast the event live from inside the suite thanks to the efforts of Frank Robledo, Larry Abel, and of course, Rich Hammond who made the internet connection possible. Many of us also participated in a post-game skate, which to say the least, was a very cool experience. If it’s part of the next event, I highly recommend you bring some skates!
Here are some photos from last night. I’d love to add more to this album, so please feel free to send your photos to me at wavesinair at yahoo dot com.

fantastic, buddy…fantastic…(!)
i’m sorry i didn’t attend, not for the game mind you…but for all the extracurricular activities and the camaraderie from all the participants…
in spite of the kings losing, it looks like a great time was had by all…
oh…and…nice header…btw…(!)
@variable: Tanks v-diddy.
WIA, thanks for setting up the site in the suite yesterday. It seems a good time was had by all that attended.
@crashin’da net: You got it! Yes, great time, good group of people, crappy hockey.
Hey… I resemble that!
@mcsorleyfan: The shot of you, me, puck and what’s his name (my apologies, I’ll get everyone’s names straight eventually) …anyway, it’s a great shot of us taken by Lomita.
What was Rich’s take on the atomic disaster called our offense? You know what did he say off air??
@Marty’s Fists: I didn’t pick his brain about the team. He was only in the suite for the pre-game though, so there wasn’t a whole lot of opportunity.
Waves, An absolute memorable experience last night. The game itself, STUNK ON ICE. But the suite, the camaraderie, and on-ice experience after the game, was what ‘made it’. Wish more peeps would’ve been there, on skates. Especially, Hammer.
Until next time… gKg!
@LBlocal: Good to see you LB. You summed it up great. Some wins would make those nights rock, yet despite the curse, we keep filling up those suites!
Drop me an email if you come up for a practice. And keep on kickin’ butt with the “plan.”
Just emailed you my pics and vids Waves. No, not that kind. The Suite night kind.
Despite the Kings record on Suite nights its always fun. Great group of people to hang out with. And the extras Frank and Larry put together for us our worth the cost of the ticket alone.
Hope to see you all out there at future games and suite nights.
@LomitaKingsFan: Well, send me the other kind when you get them edited!
Thanks for the pics. Great shots and vid. I’ll add them to this post!
Thanks for the photos waves. Perefect title for the game. despite the loss, it was aa really great expereince to hang out with true Kings fans. The after-game skate was really special. It was interesting to note that everyone who particpated in the after-game skate looked taller on the ice?
@DesertKing: Good to see you Desert! Yes, those skates sure do give some height. Glad you enjoyed the pics.
Looks like a great time! Too bad the Kings lost. I screamed my head off on quiet moments and I guess they didn’t hear me? lol. Post more pics!
