Congratulations to CB14 for moving into 1st place. Close, but no cigar on the Exacta. With all but one of us thinking the Kings would pull it out, we’re all in the same heartbroken boat this morning. With all those chances they had, it’s a real pity they couldn’t capitalize and get this trip back on track. Oh well, off to Long Island.
Standings are determined by wins/losses first, then plus/minus and then the exacta could end up being the tie-breaker. NOTE: Regulation, Overtime or Shootout predictions do not affect a perfect score. It’s still an exacta. If you see any errors, please email me or comment here.
The plus/minus works like this: You get a -1 for every goal you’re off. (For example, if you’re off by 2 goals for one team and 1 goal for the other, then that’s a -3.) However, if you predict one correct score, you get a +1. Or if you predict the total number of goals in the game correct, you get a +1. But, if you predict the exact score, you get a +3 (which is effectively a +2 for two correct scores and a +1 for getting the total number of goals correct). Make sense?

Surgery? Geez, I didn’t know about that, and hope it was not only minor but successful. My personal doctor has told me no surgery is minor, and I believe it!!
It’s nice to be in the lead, but I don’t count on it lasting too long. This Kings team is so inconsistent it’s impossible to predict the outcome of these games.
