If you’re like me, at one point in your life, you’ve taken a stab at finding that nerdy kid Waldo in a sea of red and white. If so (or even if not) you can now take a shot at finding “Richie” in a sea of, well, wherever he is on that particular day. It may not be as popular as the “Where’s Waldo?” series, but it could be just as fun… if not more so.
For a while now, LA Kings Insider, Rich Hammond posts a photo of each city he visits during Kings road trips. Each of those posts are titled, “Morning in (city name),” and have become a mainstay on the blog, providing at times a bit of comic relief the morning before the game. The photos are almost always Rich’s view from his hotel. Sometimes the views are beautiful (like today’s photo in Tampa) but many times they’re downright awful (like the view of a brick wall or a Munters humidifier on a rooftop).
Regardless, the photos seem to always entertain the Kings masses in one form or another and provide fans with a perspective rarely seen on the road in the NHL. In an attempt to further entertain you (or perhaps just take your mind off of the terrible start to the Kings trip) I bring you “Where’s Richie?” A game before the game.
Just like Waldo, Richie is hiding in the photo and it’s your job to find him! And no, he won’t be adorned in the red/white Waldo getup. It will just be the face above hiding in plain sight. He could be anywhere within a single box on the grid, which overlays the photo. Once you find him, simply note the ‘X’ number (across) and the ‘Y’ number (down). First person to comment here with the correct coordinates wins!

@clint:
You nailed it. However, reader Tim emailed me a few minutes before you with the correct answer.
Congrats Tim! BTW, I did get your email about the logo but it got lost in the shuffle. I’ll try to find it again and respond.
On another note, now I know to make these MUCH harder!
Thanks for playing guys.
@wavesinair:
Tim? Tim the Enchanter from Monty Python the Holy Grail? That Tim? He won? Amazing. I just need to know where the rabbit is.
I’ll have my game prediction and email it to you within the hour. I’m running all the numbers in the Supercomputer in Arizona at this moment. Will it help? Heck no, of course not. The total lack of offense from those guys is staggering, and completely unpredictable.
@wavesinair:
much harder…???
wow…
i thought that was hard enough…i couldn’t find him without CLINT’s cliff notes – and i still needed the magnifier…
i guess being an optician still doesn’t help me see better…(!)
BTW Now I know what I could have bought with the money I spent on a set of irons, 3 wood, driver, bag, and accessories, cuz you got Photoshop instead. Good choice! Altho I’m equally pleased with my latest purchases of a new driver and 3 wood as well!
To each his own, they say!
Fore!
@Kingsfanone:
Now all you have to do is learn how to hit a golf ball!
@wavesinair:
Driver, Taylormade Burner 2010, 270+yds, occasionally 290+.
3 wood, Taylormade Burner 2011, 220- 240yds.
9 iron, Titleist CB blade, 150 yds.
Putter, Slotline
Ball, ProV1x
It’s actually the chipping and pitching I need to work on, but usually in mid to high 80s. I can put a hit on a golf ball. Chicks did the long ball!
I’m more of a mechanic in bowling. Carry a 187 book.
Seriously!
